Heather Ratliff

ABOUT:
Heather began her career in the Art Department working as a Set Designer on Fox’s “EMPIRE”, a show that combined her love of performance and design.  She was promoted to Art Director on the feature “WIDOWS”, directed by Steve McQueen and most recently completed work as Production Designer on “POWER BOOK IV: FORCE, S3” with STARZ.
Born in wild and wonderful West Virginia and raised in Cleveland, Heather was accepted into The Ohio State University’s Bachelor of Science in Architecture.  Outside of her studies, she performed with various dance teams: namely OSU’s Buckeye Dance Force and the World Champions: The Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps from Concord, California.  Post college, she auditioned and became a dance member for The Detroit Pistons, cheering as they became the 2004 NBA champions!
She has worked as a Junior Architect in mixed use development, Project Manager of high-end residential, Custom Cabinet Designer for several luxury apartments, condominiums, and single family homes, and Artistic Advisor & Choreographer for various organizations, social services, and schools nationwide.  She currently resides in Chicago, Illinois - a town she has called home for almost 20 years and has been a member of the Art Directors Guild since 2017.
